  1. The current internet connection has apparently become super slow. What is the point of regulating the bandwidth, just switch it off completely, we pay a lot of money for the services. Even opening an online document takes over 30 minutes. What is your purpose as the student council. Even this website is non friendly.

  2. Where does one get information about the Cultural Week Cum Mr and Miss Strath????
Honestly there should be an easy way of officially accessing information and not just through facebook. We need more details! How do you expect to get people interested, with out correct info. Please work on this its really frustrating.

  3. hey, i am a student at a different university and was actually upholding your standards to be way ahead of us. I meant to ask whether you guys engage yourselves in inter-university stuff, and not just sports but other social activities.

  4. BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The site is not interactive as it should. Kwani let me ask, you entered into offices then mnanyamaza. The site should be the connective wire to the administration but you are just quiet. For real you cannot fill the shoes of the former council. Mko down! If you cannot hold office leave it to the ones who deserve. Chill UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • The administration of any society does not rest on the leaders alone. You student you need to be proactive and offer all necessary support to the council. If you sit down and wait a bait into your mouth then you will be disappointed. Appreciate and take part in council events. We accept criticism anyway but be positive and ask yourself what have you done for strathmore

  5. Hi, am interested in joining the ladies hockey team. Could you please refer me to the person in charge? Thanx in advance.

  6. TAKING THIS OPPORTUNITY TO INVITE THE STUDENTS OF STRATHMORE,TO OUR ANNUAL FINANCIAL LITERACY CONFERENCE.

    AT:KICC-AMPITHEATRE
CHARGES:1000 INCLUSIVE OF A PERSONAL FINANCE BOOK ‘WEALTH AT YOUR FINGERTIPS’.
KINDLY PASS ON THIS INFORMATION TO ALL.

  7. I have something that I think is serious. During the election of you guys, only ten representatives from each class are chosen for the exercise, which I think does not help. The selection process is always on volunteer basis and to me is isnt the right thing to do. So as a stratizen, I think u shud either persuade the administration to relook the process orrelook it yourselves, so that everyone exercises their democratic rights. One more thing, like right now candidates for posts are on and no one knows them, whats not happenning. maybe we shud relook where the rain started beating us.

    • Dear Raguanda,

Thank you for raising this issue. It has been a common sentiment in the student population which we have discussed at length with the administration. The Vice Chancellor himself told us the Student Council will have to go through the first 5 years before the constitution can be edited to allow for everyone to vote.

      Warm regards.
